So I figured this needs its own thread as it will probably be bigger than the IW thread for MP, it was announced at CoD XP that we are now getting all 16 maps.

This trailer for MP was also released, brace yourself, it's pretty good.

10 maps on release and the rest will be out by 31st December 2016.

Cannot wait to get this, will be all the CoD I need for a long time.

why is this so amazing ?
paying a 2nd time for a game that appears to just have updated graphics.

i appreciate it was good when it was released but now it doesn't quite cut it.

You obviously don't like it enough to justify paying for it. But to the millions that still think it's the best COD ever (particularly for MP), it's a no-brainer

I hear my mates say it often enough, but I think it is a case of rose tinted spectacles.
I think the modern COD player will be bored quickly, less/smaller maps, less guns, less customisation, less achievements, less upgrades, etc etc.

Yeah no doubt, but they can stick with their Black Ops Advanced Futuristic Warfare Weapon Skins Deluxe 17 if they want. This is for the proper players.

I'll only buy it if it is ever a standalone game though.

fair comment, if its a tenner I'm all over it. anything else I think they are taking the pee.

saying that I have only owned by xbox one for 3 days and I already feel deep regret when I look at the amount the games are being charged at and all of the DLC, revisited/rehashed/reloaded/master collection/ultimate edition rubbish they have everyone suckered into nowadays.

You have stated all the reason why it was the best of the series right here, for me atleast

I do understand what you are saying and for new players yea i think that may be the case, but for old fans that have given up hope on the series this is a nice thing

Indeed, played MW-1 for 2 years solid until MW-2 came, got bored of that withing 3 months, too many add-ons for guns, too many killstreaks, the list goes on and on.

Only really played Black Ops 1 after that, on ps3, found out the ps3 version was gimped compared to the 360. Not exactly thrilled with that.

Everything about MW-1 felt "natural". And the maps were simply superb.

Do we know how much the bundle is to get MW with it? Also do we know how it comes? On the disc or is it a code?

If a code I'll just buy IW for the code and sell the game on.

The cheapest will be the Legacy edition which is £69.98 on Amazon. You can also get it with the Digital Deluxe and Legacy Pro editions, but they are slightly more.

It's a code, but whether or not you'll still need the disc to play it is a mystery. However, from a business point of view it'd be silly of them to allow you to sell the game immediately and keep the download, so I very much doubt you can.

Their FAQ is pretty ambiguous:

Play or get? Which is it?
