Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered

I just hope they aren't completely tight and lock the remaster down to DRM on the Infinity Warfare disk if you buy a physical copy. You wont be able to 'sell back' Infinity Warfare on digital therefore I have a horrible feeling that they could do something like that. Would make them the most hated company in the history of video games if they did though - would not be good for business.
 
I know it's all nostalgia but watching the game play vids of this had made it one of the most anticipated games for me ever! I've fallen out of love with games in general, I'm hoping this entertain me again.
 
COD 4 was ruined when they changed the sniping mechanic, people seem to forget that. That's why we all moved on in the first place. The game was way too open with huge lines of sight for the snipers.

MW2 came out, people could have played 3-5-7 but didn't. You couldn't get people to play that way. That side of the game was dead. The last time we all had a had nostalgia fest and fired up Cod4 we left after about half hour of getting scoped to death.

If this game is pre sniping patch, I'd be all over it. It won't be.
 
This game could be getting sold separately. A quote from one of the developers:
The announcement today is that the six remaining maps we are actually going to be delivering to anyone who purchases Modern Warfare Remastered, anyone who owns it or a version of Infinite Warfare that comes with it, they're going to get all 16 of the maps for no additional cost,

For the early access campaign with COD 4 RM they say this:

The early access period will end on November 3rd.
On launch day, you must install the full version of Modern Warfare Remastered that is included with the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, Legacy Pro Edition, Digital Legacy Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition.

The thing that i can't work out is how big is the d/l for the EA campaign when you get the code.

And if you bought the game digitally will you have to re-d/l the full remaster with MP.

I think people who thought they can sell on IW after getting the remaster installed are going to be disappointed. I hope i am wrong of course.

I just bought the legacy edition for £54.99 for PS4 thanks to a discount code i found in my emails :D
 
This will be only the 2nd COD i have bought for PS, BO being the other one.

Might get it for PC as well later on but all my mates have a PS4.

Already looking at the Hori FPS xbox style pad in case i can't get to grips with the stick layout on the PS pad.

That will be close to another 40 notes though :(
