Call of Duty 4 or Crysis?

Crysis has poor AI and hit detection, the story line is also boring. Crysis has been immensely overrated.

Their both just as good as each other in their own little ways, COD4 is a cinematic epic, its fun, the story is compelling and visuals are pretty damn good.

Crysis not only has a great story and varied gameplay, but its also fairly cinematic and some of the scenes in the game will just blow you away (providing you have the hardware for it).

I enjoyed both games although crysis offers better replay value in my opinion.

Crysis. Its reminding me of when i first played mohaa and unreal.

Parts of it look like your in a film when playing it. So far ive played it for at least 3 hours and i dont think am very far in. It must be good as i usually play games for a few minutes then get bored

Wow there's an immense preference to COD4 here. Chose one game but also make sure to get the other at the some point too, because they both offer very different (and great) gameplay

on single player it depends what you personally like more,(and if you can run crysis well enough) but if you want the game to last, multiplayer is where it ends up, and as someone said, nothing is in the same league for multiplayer as cod4.

Played Crysis non stop since yesterday. Put COD4 on tonight after completing Crysis, and IMO it's miles better.

I think crysis is better even though it has some poor AI at times there's nothing like cleaning up the enemies in a section taking your time i loved that bit after you blow up the two tanks and you make your way along side that river to the caves just superb i felt like rambo.
I also like COD4 but for me crysis just shades it online and offline i don't get why people don't rate crysis multiplayer ? it's superb.
I think because it actually requires thought and cunning rather than spray n pray nade spam and rush tactics.

I have both. Single players are both very good but Crysis edges it. For multiplayer FPS I have yet to find a game series as much fun as COD can be, so I vote for COD4 for multiplayer...

Crysis hammers your system. I am struggling to get > 20fps on Medium settings with a 2.8GHz Opteron and an X1900-XTX

Looking for where I can get COD4 online for the cheapest price, so far ive spotted £24.99 but would be nice if I can get it cheaper, £20 would be fantastic

I really cant say at this point, Crysis obviously has the best graphics, but at the same time CoD 4's graphics are still good. I've managed to get both games running perfectly on my old system with no bugs, and I've played Crysis for 5 hours today and CoD4 for around 8 hours over the past few days and at the moment I'm in love with both and it feels like christmas has come early this year for me!

Having completed CoD4, i'd have to say not only is CoD4 better in the gameplay, but graphically I think it's easily as good as well.

Of course, my Crysis enjoyment is spoiled by the horrific coding. Many argue that it's "designed for future hardware" but how come CoD4 can look just as good and run really well on the X1900/7900 series?

Crysis has aliens in them? Fantastic I can't wait till mine get's here. I was shooting N Koreans in the demo version.
