Seems to still be a problem then, its downloading the update while installing and its bugged.

Go into Games and apps, uninstall it and then disconnect from xbox live or deny the update.
Should install tidy then and will update when you start the game.

Try jumping on some Hardcore Domination with us lot. We had a full team earlier and it's the most I've enjoyed COD for a long time. I hate Core Domination so though I'd hate it but it's my favourite game mode now. Well, when you have a few people playing that can communicate.
 
Selling mine too, the netcode just ruins this game for me (not helped by being in New Zealand I'm sure).

I can empty half a clip into a stationary enemy and not register a single hit :( a shame that COD can't sort this when Titanfall and Destiny both manage it without any problems.

I was over at New Zealand a few months back, trying to play online is God awful full stop.

I was playing bf4 and could only really find Australian servers hundreds of miles away.

Hardpoint, and yes that's a great game mode.
 
Bought this yesterday but having loads of issues installing it (XB1), it's been trying for 12 hours now and still not working properly. The game installed from the disk but seems to refuse to install the update, just keeps going queued - Installing- Queued - installing over and over.. Any ideas?

Pause the install. Go offline. Press start on the game and and uninstall it. Stay offline, install game from disc. Let it complete then go online and install the 250mb update.
 
Had my first online go yesterday. Didn't find it anywhere near as infuriating as I used to.

Actually managed to kill a few as well. Which doesn't usually happen.
 
Given this about 8 hours play now and I'm not liking it one bit in multi player, it seems like a massive step backwards since the last CoD games I played (Bops/MW2).

Map size - way way way too small, would be perfect for 6v6 but its just too small for the standard game size.
Matchmaking - I'm lvl30, every game this morning had 2 or more 3/4th prestige players in the game .. why god why.
Spawn killing - probably related to the small map size but half my deaths are caused by being shot from behind within the first 4 seconds of spawning.


Ill keep at it but it just feels so very broken right now, worse then pre-fix patch BF4.

Prestige means nothing. It just means they have no life and play COD all day, every day.

And it's not that broken. A couple of issues that need sorting.

The spawn system is my single biggest issue with this game. It's a massive piece of poo. The amount of times I spawn next to enemies is unreal. I think I spawn near enemies more than I spawn near team mates!
 
Sounds like the usual then.

I guess if people keep buying it though why bother fixing these issues.

Ive bought every cod since cod2 but i didnt bother with Ghosts last year. Was almost tempted to get an Xbox One to get back into it but sounds like it's like every other cod but without being cod anymore(exo etc)

Been playing blops2 a few nights recently, quite enjoy a few games of KC
 
Was honestly not going to touch this game as I've fell out with COD over the past couple of releases. This one on the other hand is a lot better, it's actually fun to play again!
