It can only be done platform wide, which means it affects other mulitplayer games you play on that system. ActiBlizzMS do NOT have an option to toggle it for just their own game. As a result, you will also encounter longer times looking for game times since you'll be narrowing it to just one platform instead of all of them. They can't go PC only.

I finished campaign on this recently. I enjoyed it over all. Pacing felt abit off and I meh to the mini stealth bits

Cliffhanger ending annoying as was not exploring who the hell your character really is enough for me was disappointing.

Did love the mission around the bio weapon

Buy it on PlayStation :)

No I’m not being a smart ass. It’s one of the single biggest reasons I’ve only been playing cod on PlayStation for the last few years. You can disable crossplay in game and whilst it’s true it won’t filter out mouse users, the majority of games will be all controller matches. You get the odd mouse player but mostly you will play pad vs pad lobbies and no pc players.

Player base is generally very healthy without crossplay too. Never had issues finding matches.

That being said, now MS own the franchise, this option may well magically disappear on future CoD releases. I guess time will tell. If that does happen, though, I’ll just quit CoD altogether.

You can disable crossplay on Xbox but it has to be done at system level and globally affects all other games. You need to change your privacy settings to disable cross network communications or something along those lines. I tried it ages ago and as I recall it did make finding matches more difficult.
 
looking at this cross play thing without care?

Game got skill based matchmaking, so playing against pc players doesn’t really matter anyway? They are at the same skill level as myself?

really good pc players I never play against due to my skills can’t match them.

Anybody been playing tonight? Seems like the lobbies are weirdly full of people not playing objectives and being a bit crap (bots?) but also people racking up huge elimination figures at the same time.

Played one game of hard point and I basically got us to 250 on my own versus their 50, but we still lost somehow when someone set off the nuke.

Bit the bullet and bought this in PS5 tonight. Initial thoughts are AMAZING!

I've been playing via Gamepass streaming for the last week or so, which is 1080p 60fps (Series S version). The native PS5 (Pro) version looks so much sharper, crisper and higher detail. All my progress from the xbox version has transferred across, including battlepass progress and weapons even audio settings!. Quite impressive.

Anyway, I spent all that money just to hammer Zombies to death :cry: Might try to get int Warzone again if and when that gets boring, but I don't play the other MP modes. I'm sure i'll be on Liberty Falls Zombies for at least another couple of weeks, if anyone fancies a game.

Ps5 pro is night and day better than it was on my series X and my ps5 slim. Frame rates alone the ps5 pro holds 120fps a lot of the time. It does look sharper as well you would expect given the price difference between the 3 but definitely worth it even if you just play FIFA and cod
