Call of Duty: Black Ops

Yeah, what is it with all the camping? I hate campers. Free for all, there are four people playing, the map is huge and people are still camping :o It was me running all over the shop like a headless chicken desperately trying to find people in corners or poking their heads out of windows. I thrashed them but it was the exact opposite of fun, must have been so dull for them, just sitting there waiting to be shot :S The mind boggles.
 
I honestly don't have many campers at all. I've just prestiged and got to level 18 ish first prestige, can't say that I've really noticed a time where I've raged hard due to some camping bitch just sitting in a corner, most people tend to run and gun, at least on the PS3 anyway.
 
Why is this game fine one moment and the next it's like you have gone back one second in time and u can't win any 1v1s

Only killstreak u get 2 chances with is care package. You have to double press square on ps3 or x or 360.

feeling a bit guilty about using this method tho, not fair having dogs and gunship from sentry and SAM crates :)

This game just loves to pair me up with complete idiots, I'm the only one shooting down the killstreaks (as usual) and my entire team is made up of lemmings who can't stop dying, and I'm also the only one positive on my team.

I'd really like to be able to play this game on my own when nobody is around, but it's crap like this that makes me just not want to play it at all.

Yeah I haven't either. I did at the very start when the search was set to default but changed it to "locale only" and its great for me. Never pulled host and with the silent galil I will usually get 3-4 kills per clip. However I have seen vids of people empting clips in to people with no joy.
 
probably going to have a go at the single player this week... any advice on what level to start on for a mix of enjoyment and challenge?

My previous game experience level:
Medal of Honour was obviously the hardest ;)
Halo Reach in between Normal / Heroic
MW2 was on the hardest, but I didn't enjoy it, so should have done it one down from hardest

Jeez it took me hours and hours to get past one little part. What made it hard was your NPC's compatriots who absolutely sucked got in the way all the time.

In that particular part the level progressed as your compatriots moved up the corridor yet in parts they wouldnt move up so enemys constantley spawned.

The single player in this game is very crap it just looks good.

Exactly, theres another part like this later on, it did my head in, when your on the rooftops.
 
I got this game yesterday and I think if you've played MW2 then you have more or less played this both single and multiplayer!

Dont get me wrong im not saying it's a bad game im really enjoying it! I put off buying it because I love BC2 online because there is a bit more to think about than run and gun?

What I did notice on multiplayer is there was a hole in a wall then all of a sudden this guy pencil dived passed it? How the hell do you do that? It looked class :D
 
ugh having a real nightmare joining ganes today not really worth playing atm...

What is a good suppressed set up? Tired the AK74u but found it missed to much

I think that I'm in a similar bat to you on this one. I am also a battlefield fan, but enjoying the fun side of COD:BO

I think the 'pencil diving' is what happens when you are running and then hit the "prone" button.
 
Took bloody ages to get people to take my packages! The opposite teams were more interested unfortunately, although I got a lot of kills out of it. :p

Also that bit in Vietnam is a bit stupid the Khe Sahn part where infinate waves of vietnamese are attacking the US base. It never told me to kick the barrels of napalm until I got close to them so I didnt know that was what you had to do.

I get that as well. Don't seem to ever get put with people who have a class with a launcher and ghost pro. So they just keep running around getting killed by whatever is in the air:mad:
