Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

on my sons PC it's making him redownload the entire game again even though its all there and installed. Anyone know why?

cpu 3700x (currently left to it's own devices)
gpu vega64 (happens at stock or oc'd)

I have exactly the same problem just after I exit the plane. Ryzen 3600 and vega 56.
Plays the remainder perfectly, makes for some random landing spots though!

I've got the same issue. Only thing I can think of is after initially downloading Warzone I moved it to a fresh SSD but on Blizzard launcher it's pointed at the right files. Anyone?
 
I've decided to go back to 441.20 Nvidia drivers. These seems much more stable than the latest (445.75) drivers. I was getting a few random stutters and jerks mid game. Back to trusty old drivers
Nvidia usually seem to **** up driver updates, older ones just seem to work

Is this game taking the peep okay I had not played it still installing it ages ago and it did a 86gb update yesterday and finally said PLAY I left it as it was late.
Come to play it just now and it had UPDATE clicked update and now its download 117gb !!!!

What the hell is going on.

okay so just checked patch notes and 1.18 was released today. 117gb really this is some crap optimisation.

okay its really messing me about its now gone to 171.46gb download the old folder was only 159gb.

Sod this I'll play something else this can go on pause for another time. A game I`ll never play not because I`ll never get round to it but because it will never get updated.

Its unable to connect to the server to know what files to update so it thinks its the entire game again.
Basically wait until issues their side have been fixed.... The update is only about 20gb if that but even if it starts your find it disconnects the update after 10 seconds.

Seems like most people wont be playing tonight

So I decided to delete my game install and see what happens, hey a 171gb download it made no difference to me, so for the full install from fresh its 171gb. So yes the 1.80 update is basically the whole game downloaded again, from new. Makes me want to join Jolly Roger so I can play the beepin game.

Yeah it just dies after 30 seconds.

Think I will just leave this game for another 6 months when they have stopped patching it just so I can play single player, find its rubbish and rage uninstall it. Good job I only paid £16 for it.

yea it's definitely weird one, i only play the game off and on as it's not really my thing but was just curious if anyone else had it. landed once on the roof the the stadium type building, was getting into sniping position when the game locked up. when it cleared itself i was standing on the ground.....for a split second all seemed fine then i just died....obviously the game had decided i'd walked off the roof and never pulled my chute!

That would be pretty annoying. I bought it, installed and it launched, it then did 1 restart and was fine until the next patch was released.

Maybe im just lucky with crashes and problems but there's no such thing as luck in IT. Something breaks or works for a reason
I advise people to do some basic troubleshooting like check event viewer, google app errors, try a different GPU driver or set default GPU settings with basic display driver only
It really is the best game I have ever played and had no issues at all up until trying the latest Nvidia GPU driver
