Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Does anyone know why they removed bounty contracts? I don't miss them tbf, just curious.

Had a couple of wins last night, I did well in the first and got carried in the second.

Shotguns don't belong in the gulag even as someone who 'mains' shotguns in MP it's down to luck how many pellets hit.

Came 4th in a game yesterday, team that killed us were the only ones left in the circle as two teams were infinitely stimming in the gas. Actually felt bad for that team.

Wish they’d take tacticals out of the gulag as well. Many times have been flashed/stunned and then shot in the back because it turns you into a cabbage and takes what feels like a year to recover.

Yeah is a joke atm they should remove them until the glitch is fixed as it’s so easy to abuse and vast majority of lobbies have someone doing it. Had one guy on randoms trying to do it yesterday so I just left. Aimbot is one thing but infinite flashes/stuns or stims is a joke.

I'm a MP player rather than WZ. The new maps in the last couple of seasons haven't really interested me at all and they keep pushing them too hard with the playlists so you hardly ever get to play the older maps you know and love.

I've enjoyed playing up to full Battle pass and level 155 since season two and have Damascus too but it's just getting tedious now. Think I'll just pack it in and wait for Black Ops.

Yes the new broadcast map is awful, it's no fun and it even looks terrible.

It baffles me that in the year 2020 you can't choose what map to play! No wonder most mp games end up 6 v 5 or 6 v 4, when so many players leave (myself included) cos they keep forcing you to play awful maps that you don't want to play.

I'd say I end up having to leave 50% of mp games as the hit reg is broken (or you are punished for playing too well in previous games?), I don't want to play that map or the server is full of the broken spr snipers. That weapon alone has ruined the game, what were they thinking!?

I actually remember the original Broadcast map as one I enjoyed but can't get into it this time.

You're right about people quitting MP games. I used to rage about quitters but now I can see their point. When you can't choose what maps you want and the pool just keeps getting larger, you get more people quitting. This in turns leads to being dumped into the middle of running games more often as a "filler", most often on the losing side, which is just tedious.

I'm glad I got Damascus a while back as otherwise I'd be forcing myself to play it just to complete that.

i didnt realise there was crossplay between console and pc

how is that fair when console has controllers and aim assist and pc has totally different and more precise controls and no aim assist ?

i thought crossplay was just between consoles ha ha

Crossplay is great for those who have a PC but their friends only have consoles so that they can play together,
BUT they should allow turning off crossplay for pc players so we are able to just play vs PC VS PC players, the aim assist is pretty daft in some scenarios when you watch on streams..this is why your seeing pro players such as DR D & Zlaner keep on playing with controllers now on PC and its very obvious it gives them an even more advantage.

Probably tbe wrong thread to ask but does anyone play on PS4 / Xbox with keyboard & mouse connected?
Id be interested to see how COD MW plays in terms of movement, aiming, fps/hz lock on a tv. PS4 it certainly looks and plays fine from what i’ve seen with a pad but unsure about k&m.
I have a ps5 on preorder and it would be cheaper for me to get a spanking new Gsync/freesync oled tv instead of a Zen 3 / Intel 10900k build, then just connect k&m to ps5

PC standard multiplayer you can turn off crossplay. It’s only Warzone (BR) you can’t. Not sure why to be honest

You get the aim assist and the finesse of using a keyboard and mouse if you use something like a XIM, which spoofs your keyboard and mouse to appear as a controller.

PC allows you to toggle FOV when using scopes and adjust scoped sensitivity. I'm pretty sure the former is not available to console players and maybe the second isn't either?

The key takeaway is that a higher FOV allows for both a greater spatial awareness as you can see more of what's around you and it reduces visual recoil when firing a gun, making it less distracting and reducing the likelihood that you will overcompensate and become less accurate. Being able to then switch to a lower FOV when using a scope means that you can focus back to a field of view where you can see further into the distance and so pick off enemies more easily.

It's annoying when you see a killcam and the guy's aim kinda 'snaps' on to you, but equally I'm sure it annoys console players when I can do a snap 180 and still kill them even when they get the first shot in or I can see them quicker because my FOV is 20 degrees higher than they can select, so swings and roundabouts really! :p

Guess the aim assist makes up for the pad players general movement, which is that of a dumpling with legs from what ive seen in general :D
Speccing my console friends in buildings is actually painful. Though strangely they seem to do well in aiming when at mid - long range.
Up close though, shocking.
I tend to run a shotgun and a mid-long range weapon. Pad plays against a fast moving k&m player with a shotgun in a building. Nope, most have no chance

I agree about watching pad player movements, but I tend to notice that (good) pad players have a different playstyle to keyboard and mouse players when it comes to movement. One of the lads I play with regularly has something like 200 warzone wins and he will always be facing the action wherever possible and uses lots of loadouts and UAVs to keep aware of where other players are on the map, mainly because he knows if he gets tagged from behind then there's a high chance he's going to the gulag.
