Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Is this yet another retardedly large download? I just deleted this off one of my ssds from another build and it was hogging over 180 gigs. 180 gigs for this.....

Re-downloading this to try out the sp, whoever managed to inflate the game to this utterly moronic size needs punched in the head and simultaneously slapped on the nads.

You know you can install Warzone by itself then add Multiplayer, Campaign, Special Ops or Survival all individually (or none)

Warzone and multiplayer is 137GB.

Just look at sizes of other games and Dirt Rally is 110GB somehow??!

I didn't, its near done now anyway so may as well snag the rest. :o

I think its mainly laziness by the devs, not using compression techniques or in the case of patches just including a ton of stuff that doesn't need to be included as it's quicker to do that than remove everything non essential to the patch.

Well that was fun, the piccadilly bomb scene is virtually unplayable, some lights on the buildings totally fill the screen and you can't see wtf is going on. Presumably a game or driver bug.

Tried the warzone mode, meh. The way people play this game it's like watching someone taking a seizure when it comes to fire fights, bouncing, proning and dancing around. It's amusing though watching some of the rage reaction to this on youtube, one guy "Pchooly" has an mma dummy beside him and goes mental beating it up if he gets killed. Another one called "dellor" (who is 32 but looks like a 14 year old) is also probably headed for an early heart attack with how he completely spazzes out when playing.

It's a sad state of affairs that the best bit of news on a game reveal is " it comes with anti cheat" ha ha

Which is more than can be said for dice with battlefield so it's weirdly a plus point compared to the competition.

Keep forgetting i started this thread, played about half hour of this tops then never bothered again, update sizes were ridiculous.

Lasted about 5 mins before uninstalling, so this is what cod has become? Feels like you're shambling along in the body of someone's who's about 10 stone overweight, the first person run animations look like they're keyframed from a game from about 15 years ago. Sound effects make it sound like everyone's firing an automatic bb gun in the brief time I played.

Thanks for the 'beta' (demo) but pass, another turd.

I translated that as you got owned and quit

What fps arcade game are you comparing it to ?

The movement is much slicker than the last 3 call of duties and had you progressed you can use the perks (boots, gloves, vests) to quicken your movement if that's your preference.

Well you translated wrong,, I had a good few kills but to me the movement felt very clunky. Maybe it was the animations of the gun bouncing around that did it. To me it just didn't seem fluid.

The last cod game I played relatively recently was the original black ops, so when I seen people comparing this to 'old school' cod games in terms of feel I thought it might be worth a look. Unfortunately not the case imo.

That game came out in 2010... I don't know if that counts as recent anymore!

Not the point I was getting at. I've seen people say mw3 feels like the old school cod games. I was playing around with black ops a few months ago, I don't get any similarity of feel between the 2 games. If anything the old game to me feels a lot more fluid and the movment seems better.
