Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

I have noticed since the last big update, some textures in DMZ Al Mazrah flicker. eg: Railways, overpassed and sided of roads etc. Another player on an XBox mentioned he had the same too.
 
So I've paid for MW2 but now when I launch COD, it basically oads the MW3, where I have to select and then wait for it to load MW2.

Made worse when it forces a MW3 update and the you load MW2 and have to download an update there as well.

Ridiculous.

The new COD HQ is awful I have to admit.. I’m not sure other than to try and force people into buying MW3 why you would do it.

Certainly isn’t for a good user experience.

It's either that or a great way of telling shareholders that X million people have downloaded MW3 because everyone who has MW2 has basically been forced to download MW3.

Exactly. They don't make these awful UI decisions by accident. Got to get the active user count up.

What I don't understand is needing to restart after logging in after an update. No other software I can of does that and now with COD HQ you can be made to do it twice (HQ and the Warzone).

The menu layout [from 2022] was designed by the man who did the Hulu menu.
It just doesn't work for this game or any other.

I hate the way you get an update in Battlenet, then start the game and it has to restart because it found the update.:mad:

Yeah winds me up. That really is childlike dev work. Surely if you are running it via steam or battlenet that should be happening before the game loads.
 
Anyone know how you stop the instant use of gasmask? Is there a gasmask toggle again in options?

I cant find one and its quite distracting sticking the gasmask on all the time.

Looks and plays nice but I got an error when updating that said it had wiped all my stats and unlocks.

Fortunately it didn't, but it did reset all my loadouts :mad:

How does a company this big, with this much money, release **** like this? It's not like they even redesigned it from the ground up, it's a rehash of last years rehash, of the year befores rehash, 95% the same game!

Had the same message. Didn't press anything until I looked online. Only reset my loadouts thankfully.
 
I got my loadouts, emblem, calling card and Operators reset as well :mad:, though all my customised weapons were still available.

I opened a support case about calling card challenges not tracking a few days ago.
After a couple of updates, they tell me my email account is inactive and could I provide a different one?

This request was in an email. To my "inactive" account :rolleyes:
 
New map and game plays really well IMO. A bit faster and more 'clean' Its sort of more like multiplayer, with higher damage. Really like it.

Top 10 in the few games ive had tonight in mix of solos and duos.
 
Is MW3 as bad as the reviews suggest ? I enjoyed all the previous COD games from 2019 onwards.
I'm looking for a good campaign game, but reluctant to buy as all the reviews are terrible.

Also.. I do have MW2 in my Steam library, if I want to play against bots offline do I need any of these to be installed ?
