What I said came straight from the horses mouth. That is what happened. It was staged, but he was intending to end up on the bonnet, but slipped and got hit by the lower front of the car instead.

The thing with internet trends though is you get all of the idiots doing it because they crave the attention, whereas before the internet they probably had the sense not to try as it would only reach a small group.
