Can Gatsos get you on both sides of the road?

A friend of mine got a ticket from a gatso while he was overtaking, so yes they can definately do you on both sides. They'd be pretty flawed if they couldnt :p

So, in short, No, it cant cover both sides of the road for two alternate lanes of traffic. It can cover the otherside of the road for cars overtaking or avoiding the Gatso.

but that's what the OP was asking, if they cover both sides for one direction
and the answer is yes they do, however if there's only markings on one side you might not get done, i would imagine it depends on wether you're flashes line you up with the lines on the other side of the road

the lines arent needed are they there just as second evidence i was told, but my mates dad put his foot down though the gatsos where the road was being resurfaces so they were no markings, i think he was just licky he never heard anything..

Rubbish! Without lines there is no way of calibrating your speed and no way of proving ** speed in Court! No lines = No fine! (for a GATSO that is!)

I did just this today,

Car infront faffing about so I over took (clear road and almost 2 lane width on my side), nothing too crazy and knew the camera was there for the otherside (no markings on my side) and flash flash.

I have had loads of cameras go off when I have been booting it on the other side of the road towards them and have never had a ticket, so I am not to worried about this one.

what on an open wide road with no other traffic in either direction?

Sounds like the perfect place
