Can I have some help with a NIP?

I'm a careful driver. No current points etc.

Today I got a NIP dated nearly two weeks ago -well within the 14 days from the alleged offence so police within time frame.

I work Monday to Friday in a city about 200 miles from home and live Monday - Friday with family. (Short term contract for a few weeks and I'm a single parent so bubble allowed) The alleged offence is Driving without due care and attention and is dated to have happened on x date at midnight - time written as 0.00.

Except the photos show my car, clearly as it is daylight, as they were taken in daylight -sun is visible is the sky and it rose at 6am and set at 6pm. I was not on that road from 9pm the previous evening to 9am the day post the NIP.
On x date I was never on that road.

I was the previous evening at 5pm and 5 days later at 5pm. The photos don't seem to be showing me doing anything wrong -I don't seem too close -they are not saying it was an RTA.

What should I do?

My family can also verify I was not on the road at 0.00.

Responding to a NIP is not an admission of guilt, but is very important to reply to the NIP within the 28 days or else you can end up with a more serious offence carrying 6 points and hefty insurance increase.
It is likely some dashcam warrior has reported you for something. If the location is familiar and the car is clearly yours then it may be the timestamp on the dashcam is wrong, and I don't believe this is a bar to prosecution. Or it could be a misread of the plate and not you at all.
Pepipoo is a good place for advice of you give them all the facts.
Many of these cases are resolved with a slapped wrist and training course similar to a speed awareness course.

Likely a video off the dashcam the Police have reviewed and decided they have a good chance of prosecuting the driver more common these days, the time isn't a reason to get the NIP dropped immediately. You could reply back and ask for more details as you weren't aware of the car being driven at the time stated.

Once the NIP has been returned and the charge is passed to the driver they will be able to get more details. I expect the OP knows what incident is being referred to.

^ This.

It could just be a data entry issue which isn't a bar to prosecution, but I would certainly respond asking for more information.
