i want to buy Radeon HD 6770 or Radeon HD 6670 psu dependant

I would imagine that a PSU with a part number of 'ATX0300P5WB' would probably be a standard ATX power supply. If it resembles the shape and size of a normal ATX PSU, and it seems to with the ones on eBay then it won't be far wrong. Dell used to have everything different in their machines, including BTX motherboards and bespoke PSUs but they are usually normal stuff these days.

i found this on ebay, gives details, but still not 100% sure

Looking at the size of my OCZ in my spare pc this is only marginally bigger to the one in your system.

It's not the ATX connector you want to check... it's the screw hole alignment. I made the mistake of ordering a standard PSU for a dell XPS 420 only to find it wouldn't fit in the case. The screw holes wouldn't align!!!

Take a look :)

think my best bet is to take the psu to a pc shop, chuck him a few squid to compare my psu to a standard one, will sort it once and for all i guess

have just found out, that The Vostro 200 does not use a Dell proprietary power supply.

The Vostro 200 Mini Tower can use most generic standard ATX power supply units, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power connector, with or without the on/off switch.

but will still take to shop 2 compare to be 100%

went to local pc supply store, bought a 530wpsu only £30, and went straight in, with no issues, now have all connectors i need and can upgrade the gpu now

cheers

What brand is the PSU? Sometimes if it's a cheap brand then it usually cannot give the stated power.
tbh not really bothered, was more to see if it would fit more than anything, think its a taurus 530w, as long as it will power a average gpu then im happy, all i have atm is a crappy x1300, just tried tiger woods 2012, was shocking bad graphics, looked like a specy game :o

Looking at the specs no way that will power the 6770. Looking at the components, that thing will blow up if you add the 6770 to it, and possible taking out the rest of the system too. I highly suggest refunding that PSU as soon as possible and getting this PSU if you want a 6770. Never ever skimp out on a PSU. You would be risking your entire system if it goes wrong, and I would rather lose £50 instead of hundreds.

could u explain y it wont support a hd 6770? so i can explain wen go 4 refund

1) It's a no namer brand. This usually means it's a small company using very cheap components to build their products in order to make a profit. Hence, it possibly won't have things to ensure the rest of the system's safety if the PSU goes boom.

2) The website link goes to a 403 page. How would you contact them if you have a problem? Obviously sounds like they're trying to avoid consumers. Hence probably no warranty on it either.

3) http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/296
The 6770 is a 5770, so the specs are the same. Just rebranded. Scroll down to "Load Power Consumption - Furmark". You can see it takes 262w from the PSU on the 12v rail. As olivier renault have stated, the 12v rail only gives up to 18a, totalling up to 216w. This will starve the 6770.

cheers guys, explained it to them and gona refund me, didnt really want to spend £50 tbh dont think i have it on me card, anything else slightly lower than £50 u guys cud recommend
