Can I use the 360 on an older 15" TFT?

I may be able to get hold of an old-ish 15" TFT from work, and I was wondering if I could hook my 360 up to it (assuming I can find one of the HD cables somewhere)? I'm assuming I could, but it'd be nice to check before searching the net and local stores for the cable :)

Yeah once you get that you can hook it up to a TFT no bother, I used to play on my 22"CRT and I also tried it on the little ones 15" TFT, worked really well.

With it being square you'll have black borders top and bottom, making it even smaller!

Hmmm, true. Perhaps I won't bother then. Just would have been nice to have the 360 set up by my PC to save me moving to play games :D

Mr Pavey Ditch, ive just got hold of a VGA cable and hooked it up to my 19" Viewsonic TFT. Frankly i was initially disappointed.. especially with PGR3 as there are resolution problems unless you have 1:1 pixel scaling on the tft. I have to play PGR3 with letterbox on and although it looks sharp etc it doesnt forgive the 2 player splitscreen anomaly which is very annoying. Ive also found the colour quality to be lacking over VGA on a TFT. Everything does appear slightly washed out.. although im getting used to it now.

I dont know what this says, but GordyR has pretty much sold me on the LG 26LX2R LCD TV. Im going to use it for normal telly, 360 and pc.

If your screen is free, and you dont care about £15... go for it... HD is lovely and crisp, but i just dont know... maybe i expected too much.

That man speaks sense, He did exactly the same with me lol.

Well, if I ever come across the cable I'll pick it up. It'll be useful at some point in the future no doubt, so it won't harm to buy it and try it.

Its worth a shot. with the borders it will be the equivalent of playing on say a 12" screen but if your sitting right infront of it that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

As has already been said if its really old the only problem might be the refresh rate as you might get some ghosting.

If your planning on having it set up on your desk can you not use your pc monitor?
