.... set mozilla as my defualt app, but have my msn hotmail emails open in ie when i click the emails button from within msn live messenger?

I believe the new Windows Live Messenger does this. Or you can try MsgPlus for the current version of Windows Live Messenger.

Or use Pidgin/Digsby as your MSN clients.

You'll have to get one of the mods to edit your title. I don't think normal users can.

I assume you have mozilla as your default browser in the windows settings? I'd have thought it already did open.

I'm pretty sure it can't be done in the older versions of WLM (8.5 and below). I'm not sure if you can do it in the new release (9)..

One thing i DO know, is that msgplus certainly won't add this feature.

i dont think iv explained my desire properly. i want to keep my mozilla as the default web browser, which it is set to now. currently when i open my emails from within msn messenger, it will open in a firefox browser. i want it to instead open in a ie browser, whilst still keeping firefow as my defualt broswer

Start menu has a space for Internet and email software; make sure your internet browser is set to IE here and your emails will open in IE

msn messenger (duno about new one) is hard coded to open with IE when clicking emails.
