Can my iphone be unlocked to 2.1 fw yet?

Doing it exactly as it says - but I think your right in following it to the tee - as it never seems to work , unless I keep holding in the buttons.

Right guys, I think Im putting it on DFU mode ok - but in itunes, it says:

"An ipod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again. An unknown error occurred (2001)."

Where do I go from here?

Ok I'm confused. When iTunes gives you that message:

Are you trying to restore it to a fresh 2.1?

Or have you done the Quickpwn?

Nah this happens when I put it in DFU mode in the process of quickpwn - it fails DFU mode in quickpwn and itunes gives me this message.

Need my phone for tonight!! :eek: ;)

Quit iTunes before running Quickpwn?
Downgrade to 7.7 to stop it interfering?

So iTunes stops Quickpwn from running?

See, you cant stop itunes.

Everytime you turn the phone on - it opens itunes.

No way around it....

Would you be able to give me an idiots guide on how to get this working from fresh please mate - doing me heading now lol.
 
Right, I think it goes into DFU mode, but it comes up with the error on itunes, and it goes onto the next screen on quickpwn, but the bar doesnt go up at all.

Does it take a long time, or is something not working?

if you are having cumminication errors try different usb cable and differnt port... also you can try using windows instead of osx.... i have found that can fix problems

Ill try the different port - if it works, just from that, Ill cry :D

Well what a time for me to have took my pc apart.........JESUS!!!

I cant get on without my phone and I need it sorted....

Is there anyway I can get 1.1.4 on it again, and Ill just ziphone it - need it big time :(

Awww mate, im confused also...

Cant use my windows pc as its on the blink so OSX is all I can use.

Right Let me tell you what Ive done.

I put my iphone in itunes and let it update automatically (should I have done this?

Then I run quickpwn and let it do what it says.

But no joy.

So now im trying pwnagetool see if it gives me any joy...

I need it unlocking seeing as its on vodafone. Gutted about this...

Really need me phone to ring me mates - lost without it!

Gutted...
