can rubbish games be a waste of electricity?

well it can be true, if you didnt like a game you cn say it was a waste, whats the problem?
i say it to nearly every game i didnt enjoy (because its money waisted)

Maybe so, but you said on the first page that if you think a game is rubbish, then you should be refunded the cost of the electricity used, which is ridiculous. :p

I would like a refund for the bandwidth used opening dickybob's topics.
I've only opened 2 that I know of but they have been of no value at all.

I'm no mathematician but I've calculated the cost of bandwidth used to be somewhere around £1204.32. Expect in full by Christmas.

I'm actually going to try and answer the question!

People are unable to make judgements without comparisons. If I only played the best games which were released then how could I never know what a bad game was? By playing a mixture of both good and bad games I expand my experience of what makes a game good and bad.

Without my own personal experience I would be reliant on other peoples opinions. And even though their opinions may be valid, I wouldn't know if I agree with that opinion without at least trying some of the games myself.

So, no. I don't think it's a waste of electricity since playing a bad game is just as important as playing a good game when you want to build your knowledge of the gaming world and form your own opinions.

After scanning the thread again, I don't think you have answered the question yourself, DickyBoB. So, do you think it's a waste of electricity? If so, why?
