If you want cheapest with best performance out of the box, it's Arctic Cooling liquid freezer.

i can vouch for this cooler i have had it since launch (just over 2 years now) and was lucky enough to get the 240 for £56 and it has been great but as mentioned it is a big bugger but its worth it imo.

Looks amazing, would buy it now but its out of stock, is that 4 fans that come with it push pull?

yeah push pull bud and they all attach into each other with the PST (pwm sharing technology). quite decent fans i have mine ticking along at 900rpm so its quite quiet.

No problem, would you say though that i would be acceptable for cooling a i5 6600k at 4.5ghz?

i had a look at competitors website and some have been returned for pump failing within a few months according to the few reviews that are there.

if you are going for an asetek based AIO/CLC make sure you go for an asetek gen 5 pump unit. these are much quieter than their gen 4. There are also other companies that make AIO's too. like it has already been said the main difference between a lot of these coolers are the fans. I have a cryorig A40 ultimate (38.5mm rad) in push pull config. the push pull config is worth 3-5C but also means you can run the fans a slower speed ( mine don't go over 850ish rpm). pretty much all the fans that come with AIO's are crap though. There are a couple of units that use copper rads like the fractal design kelvin series.

if you do use a push pull config make sure the fans are actually spinning at the same speeds. just because they are the same fan under pwn control doesn't mean they will spin the same. mine are set up under bios control. if you get a cheap one I would get some better fans.

What fans would be ideal for a push pull, i will look into the cryorig, do you have any other AIo suggetsions ?
Thank you for you help :)

I'd get a 240mm CLC cooler over a 120mm. The cm mastercooler lite that I linked is very decent for the price and better than the 120mm CLC coolers in the price range

I've been looking into different sizes. Is a 240 just good as a standard if you don't overclock? I game a lot and sometimes on high graphics my computer gets hot, is a 240 better to get?

recent amd/intel chips all have boost algorithms that take advantage of lower temps, so you'll have better cpu performance with a better cooler - regardless of whether you overclock or not

This is only half the choices..............

I need one that installs straight to the cpu, without having to put a backplate on the motherboard, the pc is already together.

Honestly I think you'll want to do some research yourself on google, take a glance at warranty, date of manufacture, reviews.

I wouldn't worry too much about temps and noise if you aren't doing overclocking, AIO's shouldn't differ too greatly unless you're increasing the size of the rad.
