Considering that House-dust is mainly made up from dead skin, Hair and the bugs that live/eat/crap in it,

While it may not give you a cold, I cannot imagine that getting a lung full is likely to do you much good!

It's very easy to curse at me for not cleaning. But if you consider the fact that the area is tiny and I am not really able to pull the desk out without ripping all the cables out of the sub woofer, tower and knocking the 5 speakers off the desk and make a dogs dinner out of everything, you'll realise that it's much better to leave it there.

What's the point of cleaning an area that you can't see anyway? How often do you clean your loft?

Here's a picture, it looked a lot worse in real life than it does in pictures.

I am now using a sit stand desk and the worktop lifts up to 1.3M tall. So I can now lift the worktop up all the way and get under. Also because of the fact that the desk will be used between 1.3M and .8M I have to make sure that all the cables are wrapped in a cable conduit so it should make everything a lot neater. Therefore easieer to clean.

not true -most house dust is from fabric - clothes, sofa's etc.

I knocked all the tiles down out of my bathroom without a face mask and couldn't breath properly for a few weeks, just sits on your chest.
