Prolly been said before, I think if you can wait, then wait a couple of week to see if the price drops on the current range. Read on another post, that ATI has announced price drop, but not sure if its only on the 4870x2.

I'm using my old X800 for a couple of weeks to see what happens. If you don't want to wait and can find a reduced price GTX280, I would say go for it.

yeah stick to your guns girl!!! you made your choice and £189 with a good bundle sounds good to me! ppl forget that budgets come into the equation now and then! put the extra cash to that other HD you wanted! :)
