Can you prove that God does not exist?

After reading recent forum posts about evolution, it always turns into God v science!

Who is right or wrong? It would be easier that God does not exist to some scientists. However science is forever changing, theory’s once set in stone are discovered to be wrong and changed. In same way, things in bible scientists and historians said were wrong are later proved correct! Who shall we trust in… an ever-changing science or a never changing God?

I don’t know a single person that does not believe in God… even the hardened atheist admits there’s something out there they cant explain!

Please can this not be some stupid christian bashing thread - only inteligent discusion please lol

neither is right or wrong, as you can't prove either, God does not rely on science so god cannot be proved or disproved,

Science on the other hand is only a model to fit known data and as such any theory's in science can not be proved 100%

Uhm, I don't believe in a god. Not being able to explain something isn't the same as thinking there is some higher intelligence/power at work.

That's what an atheist is, not kind of doesn't believe, just doesn't believe at all.

Nothing can be proved beyond all doubt. We only dig far enough to gain sufficient evidence to make ourselves comfortable to believe certain things.

Thus it is trivial discussing "Can you prove X, Y and Z".

no, you can devise a test to prove what the centre is made of, namely dig down deep enough, there is no test that can be devised to prove or disprove god.

it's still possible though isn't it? aI have described a method of determining the core. Enough money and it's totally possible to drill to that depth, it's not going to happen but it's certainly possible.

Where god, there is no test that can prove either way.

I dont believe in any god, no god can tell a human what to do, who tells the animals to life a normal life, kill mate die, if you believe in a god you have to do what god says.

No god tells me what to do.

Also if there is a god who is the one, muslims, chritans, monks etc. ?????

The scientists have better things to do than disprove random stuff that people make up all the time.

I think with hitler thing - there is a point.

For me to look at the Jews is proof of God - no other nation has endured so much yet is still here to this day.

In the Bible it has been prophicised many thousens of years before.... that Jews would lose isreal 2 times.... the 2nd time they would be dispersed to every nation and in later times a nation will hate them an try to kill them off but a reminent will survive and return to home to isreal!
