Can you remember what your first bit of 'Tech' was?

It was a Commodore calculator in the mid 70's, I actually remember opening the present and seeing a box with a blue and red ribbon down it, and thinking my parents had bought me a medal!

Atari VCS. I played missile command on it all the time. The space invaders cartridge had a game where they were invisible, you just don't get games like that any more

My first computer was a camputers lynx.

iirc it was a gameboy advance that came with mariokart on it, i remember in latter years when they came out with the advance sp and thinking 'wow backlit screens'.

Typing on this tablet, i realise the irony that i keep reducing the backlight to save battery
