Canadian Grand Prix 2010, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal - Race 8/19

Anyone notice that Hamilton's steering wheel rev indicator wasn't working on his hot lap? He hit the limiter quite a few times because of it!

Not for the first time this year.

Mind, if that's the worst failing the McLaren has this year (compared with brake issues, hub issues, snapped anti-roll bars, etc for the RBR) then they're doing alright!

Expensive pole position, Hamilton fined $10,000 for not making it back to the pits quick enough.

IMO that should be a grid penalty. Thing the rules need changed there.

Although i can only imagine the outcry that would be going on in here it if was Alonso that done it. All the Ferrari International Assist nonsense would come out.

But funnily enough, cos it was McLaren and Hamilton, only one person has mentioned it.

I believe it was actually mclaren not hamilton who got the fine as mclaren told hamilton to switch the engine off, which is actually a bit odd as he was only a few seconds away from being able to roll into the pitlane anyway.

he had enough fuel in the tank to pass the tests and weight limit so no harm no foul.

JRS- asides from being a bit iffy on the odd strategy and radiator bung removal then only other mclaren issue that comes to mind is a single wheel failure, not a bad reliability record so far.

YAY ! looking forward to an hours build up before hanging off the edge of my chair watching Hamilton give the barriers a fresh coat of rubber. Come on LEWIS !!!

I wonder how long Liuzzi can hold off the charge from Massa and Kubica. Damn it's going to be a good one.

That game can eat up your life.

Yeah many many hours have been lost to it...

Which one? Does it allow you to develop the stadium and surrounding areas with concessions etc? Or is it just playing and coaching.

FM2010, doesnt have the interactive stadium expansions (the game has prebuild styles that sort of upgrade themselves when your board needs it, so its mainly players and coaching but you can do some other functions around the club) still the most addictive thing... (well apart from being excited about the gp)

For all the excitement we are anticipating today...I really hope that the GP delivers. If Hamilton goes out on the first lap, I sense that there could be MAJOR dissapointment. I certainly would be.

Gearbox change for Webber, down 5 places.

RBR reliability strikes again....

If I was feeling slightly conspiratorial about this, I might make a suggestion that RBR are changing the 'box for no reason other than to make sure Webber is no threat to Vettel today. But I'm not, so I won't ;)
