Red flag then. CW going to wait for rain to lighten up and restart? Hope the rain does lighten up, would hate to wait 45 minutes or so and then for race to be called off. Malaysia 2009 wasn't much fun.

MS wasn't moving towards the racing line in rain. He went away from the line to run him off the road. In the wet Button was wrong and would have seen him coming, to expect him to see him coming at that point was a risk he didn't need to take. The chances that Button would see him coming in those mirrors in the wet while moving onto the line was very very low.

If they are bothered about visibilty then allow wipers to be installed to helmets

Or just slap some Rain-X on the visor

because the drivers know that if they cry enough the race will be stopped and they don't have to work harder/risk crashing out in wet weather.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't it exactly the same sort of weather in spa 1998 when Schumacher ran into the back of Coulthard?
Race wasn't stopped then.
