Canadian Grand Prix 2011, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Race 7/19

Is that much lower than previous years when they raced perfectly well in the wet by goign slower?

How about forcing them to raise the rideheight to 20mm or more in the high chances of rain?

They need to come up with something to stop this keep happening. Run a test session in heavy rain and come up with some ideas of minimum ride height in wet conditions.

I was most surprised how much kerb they take these days in the wet. They used to stay well away.

Just say if race starts behind SC due to wet, race is delayed 30mins and set up change is allowed, then racing is on. If the choose not to change and crash so be it.

FGS put Rihanna back on!!!! Much better to look at than lots of soggy mechanics! :p

I'm with Knip on this one :p Though she's not exactly dressed for the occasion - she'd look stunningly sexy (Rihanna not knip*) dressed in rags imo ;)

I'll just be glad when the race actually starts again and we're not having to fill in BBC minutes with pointless interviews with Mr George (I've got fat) Lucas!

* No offence meant :p

Do you have ANY concept of how an F1 car works? You cant just raise the ride heigh 15mm and tell them to get on with it. Stop posting crap to try to make yourself feel special.

calm down dear, its just a comerical.

yes adjusting the ride height on an f1 car is next to impossible due to the inbuilt suspension system, but they can adjust the steering charismatics with a softer setup and more aero down force.

Only trouble with that is that the wether can change a lot in 30 minutes. Its a difficult one.

But thats the point, they cant. The Parc Ferme rules mean the car is setup on Saturday afternoon and fixed. What your talking about is removing the parc ferme regulations, and thats got some complicated and potentially expensive ramifications.

I'm sorry expert, you clearly have a problem with me. Can you read English, that's why I finished my post with a question mark, it wasn't a statement it was a question I was throwing out there.

I didn't accuse you of anything, so why the hell have you got so touchy when I asked a perfectly ordinary question?
