I can't see how he can't get punished. (other than stewards being inconsistent)
Set fastest lap by some margin, and the rule that stewards are talking about, is gaining advantage outside track limits.

By F1's very nature an error should be punished and he benefited (albeit by fractions of seconds) so there should be some penalty!
 
Not sure it should be a 5 second penalty because frankly he's holding Hamilton up, so by saving his place by doing that he's hurting Hamilton's tires and slowing him down, which costs way more than 5 seconds to Hamilton, it's already more than 5 seconds Hamilton has been held up.
 
I'm no Hamilton lover by any stretch but if Rosberg had made that error on any corner that didn't have the space he could have been out of the race all together!
 
Earlier on it showed Rosberg using more fuel again than Hamilton. But what the hell is a hogie?

EDIT:_ not the team doing it, Rosberg is just slower and Rosberg has used more fuel.

Think Hamilton's tires are starting to look with him sliding all over the place. no penalty is a complete joke.

The tracks are the problem, if there had been a gravel trap he would have either been forced to take the corner and lose time or take to the gravel and lose time, F1 today they just cut the corner at full speed losing no time at all if that's not gaining an advantage what is?

edit: no penalty what a joke.
