Cancelling contract.

I'm coming up close to the end of my contract with Orange, how do I cancel my contract with them? I can't see any option on my account page to do it.

You need to give them written notice within one month of it ending, otherwise you'll probably get charged for rolling over into the following month.

Just give Orange a call and they will cancel it, You need to give one month's notice btw.

Phone them, email them or send them a letter any of those should work.

Just phone them. They will try to persuade you to stay (of course), just be certain you no longer wish to continue and cancel it :-)

Depending on when you cancel, there may be a small charge for any time you used after the end of the contract (All perfectly normal and above board).

Really is easy to do. If you wish to keep your number, then ask for a PAC code. You give this code to your new provider (even PAYG) if you want to continue with that number :-)

On a related note: my O2 contract is ending in three months. When should I start pestering Retentions - sorry, I mean negotiate renewal or cancellation?
