Lederman had GGG up by 8 rounds and they all thought he won clearly but said they wouldn't be surprised to see Canelo win. They knew something dodgy was going to happen.

Edit: Teddy Atlas has gone full postal and called out the corruption in boxing.

adelaide byrd should be made to stand infront of a court and explain what she saw to award canelo the middle rounds of that fight

And why golovkin isnt now 38 - 0

I didn't watch the GGG v Canelo fight but in a high profile fight when there's a scorecard which is so clearly out of kilter with what the other judges saw surely there is a reasonable case for a re-score? The WBO recently had a re-score for the Horn v Pacquiao fight so it should be a viable option.

Just watched the fight, after round 7 I was thinking a draw is likely. It was a contrast of styles, GGG upped his game from rounds 4-7 with the earlier 3 rounds going to Canelo. Final 4 rounds were up for debate, I think GGG expected Canelo just to stand there and get hit

Strange fight for me, as I didn't particularly care who won. A fair summary is GGG was the aggressor but Canelo landed the more telling shots. Looking forward to the rematch.

Been dodgy decisions in boxing for probably as long as fights have been judged! It’s probably corruption but who knows maybe just incompetence. You could maybe just about get away with arguing last night was a draw but in no world at all could you say Canelo won 10 rounds to 2!

There was a fight the other week I watched where the judge actually thought one boxer was the other and scored the wrong way round! They did rectify that in the end, perhaps last night was the same.....?

I remember the Lewis v Holyfield 1 decision (also a female judge) and that was nearly 20 years ago. Least they had a rematch and got the right result second time round, hopefully be the same here.

I just don't believe Adelaide Byrd is that incompetent. Boxing has an opportunity to be seen to address the corruption by hauling Byrd in front of a committee/panel and made to explain her decision. Maybe check her bank account while they are on.

For me GGG took it, just, but the whole event has now been ruined by one corrupt judge.
