I tried to installed Win7 with bios set to RAID and the installer wouldnt find my SSD. This is on an asus rampage iv formula.
So I set it back to AHCI and it did find my SSD. I then installed Windows.
I have subsequently tried to set the mode back to RAID and windows blue screens.
On my old x58 setup I would go to regedit and set the flags from 3 to 0 for iastor etc. This allowed my to select RAID and sucessfully boot.
This doesnt seem to work on my x79 platform even though I have installed IRSTe.
The latest IRST doesnt seem to have iastor either. Only iastorA and iaStorF.
At the moment I'm just using Windows RAID to strip my two 1TB disks. Not sure if this is bad or not anyway.
Any ideas?
