Yes and no
When tethered you by bypass any recording to memory cards.

100 is limited to 12.5MB a sec anyway, and many cards do well above that now.

So even if your card does only 30MB/sec, you are still benefitting from the gigabit port.

14 for jpeg, raw is 2 frames less.

Some SERIOUS horse power indeed though, 18MP and pushing that kind of framerate...
