Cant decide - 106 or 306.

the xsaras are not excactly grim looking to be honest, some look quite attractive.. The 306 isnt excactly great looking either... if what fox said is true, and the xsara vts is very similar in terms of performance in comparison with the 306 gti-6 but considerably cheaper... then i know which one i would consider if it was out the two... but for 3-4k i wouldnt look at either...
 
I drive a 306, and drove a friends 106.... ignoring the performance difference, the 106 felt horribly claustrophobic and cramped, was much nicer to get back into my older, cheaper 306.

Yeah but you know thats not true, so whats the point in being like that? Also they have exactly the same gearbox and suspension setup, unlike the 306/Xsara.

It's as true as the Xsara v 306 thing - it's the same situation.

It's missing ONE cog. And nobody has provided the details on the suspension setup differences, which I'm not sure exist, in any of these threads so far. You go and order suspension parts for a GTi-6 and it has the same part number on Pug/Cit's system as those for the VTS!
 
306 v 106 = 306. 106 is a lovely car, but a bit on the small side IMO.

306 v Xsara = 306. Again. The Xsara is fugly, the 306 is quite a nice looking hatch. Plus the extra gear plus the extra 'handling polish'

106 v VTS = 106, narrowly. Slightly better looking.
 
Hey guys, I dont want people defending minging tattoos and Xsara's ;) I know what car I want and it really is out of these two :)

what part of "the xsara is far cheaper and better" dont you understand? everybody's entitled to their opinions but when you say its an affordable hatch? nope. I'm not saying get the xsara, but i would never buy the seriously overpriced 306 gti-6.

The gti6 is VERY affordable to me? Just like a 966 turbo is afordable to beckham. I DONT WANT AN XSARA. They look in my eyes not pretty!

O make that two about your ink stain as my g/f just said, ewww ;)
