Can't do 200mph then go home!

How about 1 full width one :)

That viper looked like it was trying to kill him...

the sign of a proper car, 1000bhp shouldn't be accessible and easy to drive for anyone, it should take a special kind of nutter who can handle raw power to do it

you can have your electronic driver aids, I don't want anythough

what about that car some guy modded. was the fastest road car or something...think it was on fifth gear. wonder how that'd do here!

I'd safely predict 200mph in less than 10seconds and over less than 1/2 a mile

it does 180 in 7.6 seconds over a 1/4 mile so.....

hehe, have just been reading about top fuel dragsters that can do 300mph in something like 3.5s hehe

I'm amazed at how controlled the Veyron is when accelerating after witnessing the madness of that Viper, the guy took his hands off the wheel in the Veyron, I'd imagine that would lead to instant death in the Viper.

I don't care how rich you are, why would you live in a Hotel?? I know he can afford to throw cash away, but paying rent on a hotel room??? Why not just build your own, it'd be cheaper and make more sense

Being rich enough to build a 7 star hotel just to live in is probably beyond even this chap :)

The quoted 1000bhp is a guaranteed minimum. I've seen reports of cars with close to 1100bhp fresh from the factory

lol, I meant to operate as a Hotel, but with his own apartments. At least then he wouldn't be paying rent :D

I should imagine environmental factors can make a substantial difference. Building a rolling road in the arctic at sea level would probably result in some pretty over-spec figures. :p

Americans

Um.....what?

It's quicker than saying "All driven by Steve Miller, the driver with the most wins in IMSA history". And given that R&T is an American publication....why wouldn't they be using the American (slightly mangled) version of English?

Is that what he says? I couldn't figure out...

No wonder when he's making up stupid words :/

edit - k, google says it isn't made up but it's still a stupid stupid word :p

337mph in 4.42 seconds to be precise ;)
0-60 in 0.5
0-100 in 0.9

but if you wanna talk silly fast then over to Mr Sammy Miller - rocket powered funny car
1/4 mile: 3.58 seconds, 396mph
0-300mph in 1.6seconds
