cant get sleep

That's what I pretty much always feel when going to school.
Thank god for holidays though, now I can stay up as long as I want and between 6 and 7 am I usually start getting tired, by the time I go to bed I fall asleep very very easily :)...

It's terrible when we go somewhere though, when I go one hour earlier to sleep than ''I'' want, I usually can't sleep for hours and hours then...
 
Sleeping tablets don't put you to sleep. They just knock you out. I had some the time I had my motorbike accident and after waking up from a drug induced sleep I used to feel as if I hadn't slept at all.

They really are awful. Try to avoid them at all costs.
 
Woo woo, was watching some tv series. Came back and realised there are still people wide awake. It's going to be bright soon. hrhrhr

Btw, just a random tip for those find it hard to sleep, I read it from somewhere that, having a t-shirt (yours or your missus, worn) lightly cover your head whilst you in bed helps...somehow

Apparently it got to do with the familiar scent from the t-shirt which will calm your down and helps to put you to sleep.

Never tried it myself though :D

Herbal stuff are nice though:

Tilia tea makes you so relaxed :).
 
bugger, had about 30mins sleep all night, cba trying for 30mins, not worth it, tesco later for *****-loadsa red-bull
 
yeh on my 4 month uni summer holiday so iv got terrible sleep pattern atm, go to bed around 5-6am, wake up 2-3pm.

although since i was like 14 iv found it impossible to get to sleep in less than an hour or more unless i wait till im falling over from tiredness, even then it takes me about 30mins to get to sleep. when my head hits the pillow it wakes up and i start thinking about anything and everything.

I went to bed at 7pm as i was exhausted for some reason. I slept right through until 6am though, just sitting here browsing until work at 9. :)
 
I've a great difficulty going to sleep. And the pattern changes randomly. Right now, I'm awake until 3-4... and then wake on the dot at 5-6. It's getting annoying. What's even more annoying is that the things that are bothering me at the moment rush into my head the absolute second I wake up, making me feel like ****. That's just not fair!
 
buy a nicer mattress, and put a thin quilt beneath your bottom bed sheet

makes bed feel like a sleep cloud


also, buy comfy boxors & socks, so you feel good during the day


kind of gay advice, but it makes you feel so much better
 
why do people who cant sleep get on their computers and post about it?

surely that will keep you awake more??

switch off your computer and read a book. and don't give up after 10 minutes of trying and go back to your pc.
 
Heh. Im off to bed right now . . . .

Like has been mentioned, I also do 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts. I have no concept of day or night. I really dont have a clue what day / month it is. They all seem to be the same day these days . . . .
