Financially and competing at the highest level yeah it is. I would rather us qualify for the champions league, playing the best teams in the world, than win the Capital One Cup.

This is a more dismal performance than the 8-2 drubbing though. Get it together Wenger.

The team selection reeked of 'don't give a ****', the players seem to have adopted Wenger's attitude for this game as well.

Indeed. I am pretty sure I have only seen Miquel play the ball (be is pass, header or thrown in) forward once. Lacks ideas. Would loved to have seen Eisfeld play. Probably shouldn't have farmed out Miyachi either.
