Captain America: Brave New World

Nothing inspiring about the trailer at all. Will defo be a D+ watch at home on stream.

From The first avenger through to end game, Evans made Cap what a lot of people will remember, think they are about to destroy it.

I know what you mean. A regular human blocking a punch from a hulk with the shield would result in a squished human.

It's supposed to absorb kinetic energy, that's why multiple non super powered people have used it in the past too and Cap used it to break lethal falls etc.

Frankly though as pointed out in the films, that thing doesn't obey the laws of physics and shouldn't be thought too hard about.

Seeing online that this movie had an absolute assload of reshoots due to bad feedback. $350 million is a number being tossed around for the supposed budget for this. :eek:

Fourth round of reshoots apparently, and this thing is supposed to be coming out in...April? I think? It's going to be gash. They should have gone with Buckycap instead of forcing Sam in order to be bold and stunning. Don't get me wrong, I liked seeing falcon on screen, but he isn't powered by the serum and he isn't a super soldier.

I will start reporting them too, fake trailers and spoilers are my main bugbear in thus sub-forum!


Feb 14th release date. I don't really look into all this budget/costs/reshoots stuff, but I reckon it's unlikely they are filming anything at this late date! There's jmust not enough hours in the day!

Personally, I rewatched FATWS recently, and I enjoyed it more on my 2nd watching. As long as Bucky appears in the film at some point, I see this whole movie as a sort of continuation of the show.

The suit is now made of Vibranium (not sure if people who din't watch the D+ series realise that). It's still impossible that any human could even go toe to toe with a Hulk (assuming Red hulk is like Green hulk). BUT, even the super soldiers would stand no chance tbh, Bucky, Steve, flag smashers they would all get smashed to pieces by the Hulk! IIRC the only people who have even come close to going toe to toe with Hulk in the MCU are Thor and Thanos!

Anyway, I will still book this for IMAX on opening day.
