So I can be bothered to write something now!

This will be my first build, hoorah, so expect death and destruction and general crapness... Also thanks to everyone who has helped me through buying/choosing parts and advice, aswell as selling me them :p Main mentions would be 5UB, RJC, Cleeecooo and stulid for all the help!
...Anyway the build will be starting shortly after Xmas when I can order the final parts from OcUK - So about 29th/30th I hope.

Here are the intended specs and shizzle like that (aka the stuff i'm going to wreck):

Things that have arrived:

CPU: i5-2500K - thanks to Its_me for this.
RAM: Kingston Grey 8GB - Grabbed while on offer.
HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500GB - thanks to masonkian for this.
PSU: BeQuiet EP 600W 80+ Gold - £50 was a steal.
OS: Windows 7 - Once again cheers Its_me.
Case: Zalaman Z9+ - Beastly.
Monitor: Some Asus 22" LED thing.
And a cheap Dell mouse and keyboard set from Wakinglimb! (Until I can be arsed to buy some proper shizz)

Things that are staying away from me due to their knowledge of how bad this build will be:

Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 - Ordered for delivery on 28th!
CPU Cooler: BeQuiet Dark Advanced or whatever - On its way from Jordan97! (Who just got suspended I see )
Network Card of some sort - 28th!
DVD Drive: Delivery on 28th!
GPU: HIS HD6950 IceQ X Turbo 2GB - Delivery on 28th!
SSD: Corsair Force 3 60GB - Delivery on 28th!

Well, I will be posting some pics of the stuff when it has all arrived. Will probably get a few snaps of the case when im home though for you, no idea why though, all you need to do is check the OcUK page!

Side note of the day: tomorrow guys, tomorrow!

Also if anyone would liek to donate some games to me to 'test out' my new rig feel free ;)

A massive thanks to SuperTronNarwhal who gifted me Splinter Cell Conviction! :D:D:D

Notes on the parts so far:

Zalaman Z9+ is a very very nice looking case, comes with sticky plastic to keep it all shiny. Four fans included, 3 LED ones which is a real treat, they all look great I must say! The build quality is very good and is very sturdy! Steal for the price!

Kingston Grey looks very nice, shiny and all round good looker. Nice low heat spreaders too, very impressed.

BeQuiet EP 600W looks nice, finished in the very good looking black that BeQuiet products have.

TIME FOR SOME PICS AND UPDATES BRAH:

Good luck with this. :D I'd done tonnes of builds in the past, but it was years ago so the one I just did felt like it may as well have been my first! :p Stupid considering I've done so much tinkering and upgrading for myself and friends, yet a new build felt completely alien!

Look forward to seeing it all put together mate!

looks good, i'd substitute the IC diamond for cheaper MX4

Yeah true, seems rather pointless.
