Long time no post on here.

But im in a bit of a stuck mind. I have arranged the sale of my big power s14a to a fella from france, he is flying over on monday to pick it up. Sad to see it go at over 400bhp it could boogy

So, i have 10k to spend on something. I cant decide weather to spend the 10k on something that will sit in the garage til spring time. Or knock cars on the head that are petrol drinkers and buy something boring.

The fun options are
s15 specR (bit of a comfort zone after 5 x s14a's i know the engine and bit of experience)
e46 m3 (dotn really feel these and big running costs with constant heavy depreciation in future)
evo 7
integra DC5
s2000
R33 big spec gtst or low spec gtr (had 2 x gtst before so know them a bit)
Realistically though none of them will be as fast as the s14a

Or, something cheap for a grand to take me through to spring time and wait to see something i really like.

Or, give up on petrol drinkers and maybe just buy a 330D or honda accord ictdi or a4. Something boring..

I have seen the bad news salt is on a car. That and the fact trying to drive some sort of decent power rwd jap car just getting to work at 7am in january is a whole lot of fun you just dont need at that time in the morning lol.

Do you have 2 cars or is this car to be your daily driver aswell?

Def not a fair weather driver. But take for example my current sx. You can not come on boost in 1st, 2nd,3rd or 4th in the wet without it kicking the tail about. Never mind the ice or snow lol.

If i buy something boring it will be my only car.
If its going to be something fun it will be a toy and i will have a wee cheap runaround too

The SpecR is just going to be like your S14 was, except you don't benefit from it being faster as yours was modded, so beyond that the only real difference is how it looks and the diff, right?

After owning a 400BHP 200SX, which was undoubtedly plagued with problems (nature of this car, especially tuned and you wouldn't have sold it otherwise :)), I'd pick up a nice DC5 and enjoy reliability.

well he has had skylines and a s14 before and is a french police officer so think he knows the score :)
Do potential buyers usually tell you what they do for a living before coming to view a car? :p

Or was it a case of "I assure you sir, it is totally legitimate, I am a police officer, you can trust me." :D

does he want a wire transfer into a nigerian bank account ? :D

(this is all entirely legitimate sir, i am french nigerian, honest :D )
