Car Finance Question

I’ve put a deposit down for a used VW Sharan from a VW dealer. If I take out a finance agreement I get two free services. For a HP agreement they would charge a £99 admin fee. For PCP no admin fee. I intend to settle within the 14 day cooling off period. If I took out the PCP deal to avoid the admin fee can I settle within 14 days like if it was HP? Also should I settle or withdraw from the agreement?

Need to check the fine print....

I "suspect" you will also loose the free servicing if you settle inside the cooling off period as well.

So if that's the only reason to take the finance in the 1st place, check and see what happens with the servicing. If they pull that as well, then why bother with the finance....

Tell them you want the 2 services and will fund in the best way for you or no sale.

In their give and they might say no but worth a punt.

Faff any other way.

I doubt their systems will talk to each other - so it depends on how they setup the 2 free services. Probably not worth the faff tbh.

Some finance companies wont offer an settlement figure automatically for PCP but they should if you call them.

Like dlockers said unless the seller is their own finance supplier their systems wont talk.
