Car got keyed last night

No its not inevitable, but a flash car will proabably get done every other week.
Maybe if you live in a crap area or regularly leave the car outside pubs/clubs. I know a guy who parks a 575 on the street and it's never been touched.

Nobody touches the dealers car, they no better than that ;)

Damm paul, really cant belive it :( You work hard for things in life and little swines get jelous and ruin it

Hope you get it sorted soon

Sam

I'd use it as an excuse to paint the whole car satin black, make all the badges black (including the V on the grille) and the wheels too.

Black VX's look nails.

I makes me very sad to see things like this :(

Sorry to see that happening to such a nice car... then again to any car, any person's posession, it's just completely out of order. :(

Hope you managed to get it sorted with minimum issue, and cost - but it looks like it might not be so easy/cheap. If you do manage to sort it out please be sure to give us a step by step guide of how you did it. :)

Agreed :)

I feel for you i really do. I know cars are just "things" but they are the one thing we own that we cant watch 24/7, sadly they happen to be our most expensive (and often treasured) thing too.

I myself have had (in the past 6 months) both wing mirrors kicked off, rear and front windscreen wipers snapped off, my make and model badge ripped off the back and a couple of nice dents added to the collection.

My car is only a £600 diesel xantia so i cant imagine how annoyed you must be.

Kudos for (seemingly) taking it as well as you are.

I hate stuff like this. About three years ago my cruddy old 205 got paint-strippered on my drive, completely randomly, hadn't upset anyone (that I know of). Almost feel like I've got some kind of OCD now I have a new car as I check it before each time I get in it for key mods or worse.

It isn't so much the damage they cause or the financial loss that gets to you - it's the expectation of it happening again... :(

This is disgraceful, but sadly all too common. The ones who did it, perhaps wouldn’t have cared what type of car it was, just something a little different, it stood out and sadly it was the target of their mindless fun. Perhaps?

It’s not always sporty looking cars they target, but the flashy cars, well looked clean cars etc are like diamonds in the rough, and just tend to catch their eye, and become they next “play” item to satisfy their thirst for destruction.

I do feel very sorry for you, and you do need to report it. The police are a bunch of useless ******* but it at least adds to the numbers as already mentioned. I do agree that the police, towns etc are more interested in tickets and this is mostly the attitude that allows these mindless fools /thugs to get away with it.

It annoys me that someone has a nice car, he doesn’t mess around with its looks too much, keeps it nice and then some idiot or idiots decided to have some fun with it, but sadly this is the world we now live in. Not too long ago someone tried to actually steal my car from my own driveway. I was alerted to this as my dogs barked and I ran outside and lamped the sod, sadly you didn’t get the same opportunity.

Best of luck fixing this.

thats infuriating!

how'd the date go? hope it was worth it but definitely not the way you'd have expected the evening to have ended :(

I know it's no help but I'm gutted for you. It sucks that people can do it and get away with it and I'd be mightily pee'd off if I found my car like that :/

I leave my Elise filthy for this reason :(

To start with, inform the police about the cctv.

Secondly, insurance wins again by making customers pay for their services and yet failing to provide a service to the customer by use of fear ( loss of ncb ) and excess. Yay!

cack isn't it. Lots of jealous scumbags about I hate the way i cannot wach my car 24/7

I had my wiper arms bent back this weekend, the thick part of the arm now sits up more than it should so thats been bent, and thats after bending the thin part back down. Another incident in the long line of small annoying damage done to my cars. I'm considering leaving the car as is now and jsut running it around, I don't want to make it stand out even more :(

I bought my car pre-keyed.. its a tactic that seems to have worked thus far.

Feel for you though mate.. like someone said, thats not a keying.. thats an attack.. theyve taken time to go round and seriously jab your car..

*******..!
