Already posted this by accident in pc games section, but mods haven't moved it for me, so here it goes again.

Some scruffy ****wit keeps keying my car! not to sure if its happening at work or back at my house!

1 over wheel arch the other day, followed by ones down the passenger door then another just under the back near side window, then one across the bonnet! starting to get very ****** off we it now! when at work im having to put the sensor alarm on it, goes off if you touch the car or stood next to it for 6 seconds, but i cant put this on when back at home because it'll just draw way to much attention and annoy the neighbours at night!

Anyway whats best cheapest way of getting rid of these marks? there not major deep to the metal marks but still noticeable and cant stop looking at them when next to the car.

When i bought the car it had this little sonic blue paint thing we like a needle on end, cant find it at moment, but hopefully someone will know what i mean, would this do the job, or just make it worse?

Thanks

its hard to explain, the area i live in they wouldn't give a toss about that, infact they'll use that to there entertainment so i keep it off around here. and the other big problem is there were not aloud to park are cars in front of the house so we have to park them round the corner, ( 5 houses down) so cant even keep an eye on them.

anyway i wasn't wanting a solution for that i just thought i would explain the situation.i need to know whats best quick cheap way of getting them scratches out, is there any thing i can buy whats good at fading them what people have used there selfs?

thanks

Fixing the scratches would make the tossers come back and do it worse. Id just leave it and pray they stop lol

hold on, you are happy to let it happen?
honestly, just put the alarm on and then wait for them.

No point fixing it - it seems highly likely to happen again. Hunt the banker down first, then fix the mess!

Needs pics really! T-cut? if too deep then respraying the whole panels which won't be cheap. :(

ill get some pictures tomorrow dude, its not to metal deep, but deep enough for me to notice them when ever i walk past the car. so what do you do with this t-cut then do you just put it on a clothe and give it a wipe? just checking halfords now and its only 9.99, but they don't have sonic blue, would just blue do the job or do you think it would be noticeable? ill obviously still check about to see if anywhere as sonic blue first.

thanks

Who's missus you doing the nasty with then? ;)

haha exactly what the grandad said when i went to show him, but i adoubt that as window screen wipers would be gone by day 3 normally.

what kind of car is it?
I recommend getting direct line, vandalism cover.
I got mine keyed last year and they sorted it out for me, didnt have to pay a thing :D

but i cant put this on when back at home because it'll just draw way to much attention and annoy the neighbours at night!

Thanks

**** the neighbours if your cars getting done over
maybe 1 of them will see who is doing it
it would be different if the alarm was faulty and was going off all the time on its own, but if it going off because some one is messing with your car the neighbours cant say anything

What a nightmare :(

Was reading the ATR forum not long ago and someone with absolutely no enemies had his ATR scratched on every single panel of the car just out of badness

People will reply shortly that are much better qualified than me re how to best remove the scratches i'm sure.

If it was me i'd be reluctant to get it sorted until it stops happening, i'd also move its position totally. Even if it meant walking half a mile down 10 roads where its unlikely to be found again.

Are no other cars getting done nearby? sounds like you've offended someone, even if not that recently.

How long do you do that for though? Also could have some nasty side effects insurance wise...

Yer its not ideal :( and would have to tell the insurance company, but what other options are there except to wait for them which is pretty time consuming, don't you think? :p
