Thats what im saying, most little toe rags want your car, not to have murders fighting you and get an 8 stretch.

Decent alarm decent locks and keys out the way and thats you safe from 95% of this problem.

People shouldnt assume that just because someone is a tea leaf they are stupid, the 2 do not universally go hand in hand.

depends what car you've got IMO.

If you've got a porsche or a bentley on the drive, the thieves are likely to be very determined to take the car and know what they want. Like the sort that put a GPS tracking device on Housey's RS4.

If however you have a 1.8 Vectra on the drive, any such theft is likely to be opportunist so you'd be safe hiding your keys away imo.

Nobody is going to risk going to jail for attempted murder over a 1.8 vectra ...

Plenty of people doing plenty of porridge for no money at all, im just saying the percentage of hard core stab you for a Porsche types is small, and a few basic precautions will help out in most cases.

Of course i agree if someone is adamant they want a particular car then yes, its going one way or the other.
