Who's fitting the LSD, Darryn?

Unit-8, i am really happy with the Geo work they did, so, ive been in and chatted to Stevie and im pretty confident he will do a good job of getting my car up to spec for severe track use. :)

Sorry to those who don't like my car, but I like looking at pictures of other people's work so thought that some of you might appreciate what I've been doing to mine recently.

brakes-1.jpg

MG ZS 180 rear brake upgrade. Increases discs size from 238mm to 262mm.

Quite shocking to think that the car came with 262mm discs on the FRONT as standard

And something that I've been after for quite a while. When this mint condition pair showed up, I just had to have them...

seats.jpg

Front seats from a Rover 820 Vitesse. Similar to the standard seats (which were designed by Recaro anyway) and sporting 'Recaro' branding. Same cloth pattern too which is always a bonus :)

My to do list which will be done by the end of June.

Full Stage 2 tune which involves a full Remus exhaust and custom remap. That should take the car to 280bhp - 290bhp.

Get my passenger side skirt sprayed.
Rear wheel refurbished.
Parrot Bluetooth installed.
Then spend a day or two srubbing it up.

Shouldnt cost anymore than £2100 including the bump in insurance.

I can't decide. Either...

1) Buy E39 M5

or

1) Retrofit 16:9 Navigation System
2) Eisenmann Exhuast system
3) Gruppe-M air intake
4) 255bhp Remap
5) M5 mirrors

UPDATE: Done none of this stuff.

Current plan: Hope nothing breaks between now and when I SORN it at the end of June for 6 weeks :p

1) Find an e36 328i that is good for the money and hasn't sold! - DONE
2) Install improved sound system. HU is crap, but speakers are ok, with some tweaking current one is ok.
3) Change the seats for Sport Half Leather ones. DONE
4) Install decent brakes. DONE
5) De-tango it if it hasn't already been. Probably leave this actually, quite liking the orange.
6) Install bumper(bullet ;)) camera(s). Tested a dash mount cam, got to work out how to mount it in the bumper.
7) If naff wheels, get better ones (either stock or better OEM). Keeping current ones, they are good.
8) Stiffen the suspension from stock, but retain some comfort.
9) Put it on the RR and get a base figure. 2nd May with your lot
10) Do something like 'Know You Limits' and learn the car properly. Want to do this ASAP, but can't find a decent priced one.
11) Get a 325i manifold, and get it properly mapped
12) Put it on the RR.

Updated a bit again.

1) Get it serviced
2) Get it cleaned properly (inside and out, there's some stains in the boot)
3) Get the rear windscreen wiper arm fitted - had it sitting here for ages but I don't have the tools necessary to do it properly
4) Get a better headunit at some point, something that plays MP3s
5) Fix or replace rear bumper - cracked the top of it when I reversed into a parked Volvo the other week :(

Still all of these, except the 2nd one. :(

1) New tyres
2) Sort out the bloody handbrake AGAIN.
3) General servicing stuff - oil change, brake fluid, probably fresh coolant as well.

***edit***

This is on my Seicento, by the way. Probably ought to mention that.

Already ordered some bits; eibach lowering springs, sideskirts, vent rings and a GV lip. Still need to order offset number plate bracket and import plate.

Probably fit the lowering springs first, then get the exterior bits sprayed up and fitted. This probably won't occur for a month or two yet.

Currently also trying to wear the P6000's on the car asap which the previous owner decided to put a fresh set of on before selling :<

Done all of the above now. Have some refurbed wheels to fit with Michelin Pilots.

Only thing left to do is the alignment and have some summer fun
