Car todo lists....

It looks....just.....chavtastic....

You car is very very very tastefully modded.

I can't help but think when I see a car with LED lights that the car is driven by a complete *******.

It's just the impression it gives off.

I dunno if its just because I think LED lights are far too harsh on the eye or what, but I really don't think it'd suit the car imo.

:( Don't be a hater :(

Out of curiosity do you prefer LED lights or the normal bulb variety?

A good example I can think of is the E46. Pre-facelift rear lights look great, the LED ones? look pants imo.

LEDs are cool. Obviously, I'm not talking blue LEDs as my sidelights or anything, but LED brakelights and indicators look so cool.

However...

Errrr... :D

You're probably the only person who thinks that a 15 year old Rover with 17" rims (y0!) and a loud exhaust is tasteful.

See Andy this is where you are wrong :p - LED's on a car made....this decade, could POSSIBLY pull it off....yours can't I'm afraid dude :(

Got any pics of 420's with LED brake lights etc?

Shush, you know what I mean :p

It surprises a lot of people that car ;)

Mine's completely redone after the spectacular MOT failure

1) Replace suspension bushes
2) Replace subframe
3) Get welding done
4) Pass MOT?

The brake lights might be a bit much, but I think the indicators will look good. We'll see anyway :) I definitely want LED number plate lights though, they looked smart in Phil's thread.

Not at the moment it doesn't. It just makes a load of noise and doesn't go anywhere.

That'll be the clutch then ;)

Replace with something daft....

I can't decide. Either...

1) Buy E39 M5

or

1) Retrofit 16:9 Navigation System
2) Eisenmann Exhuast system
3) Gruppe-M air intake
4) 255bhp Remap
5) M5 mirrors

1) - far less hassle. ;)

Fit wideband lambda sensor and AFR gauge (birthday present, woo)

Got this today...

Expensive, but very  You can do on the fly data logging too! AFR gauge will be very handy.

Finish rebuilding gearbox with steel caged bearings

Get most of that finished this weekend. I've replaced the weaker type A LSD (can shear at the bearing journal) with the stronger type B LSD which should mean that I don't need to worry about the box again. Need a new speedo ring before I can replace the diff bearings and put the box back together.

Gradually replace all external bulbs with LED variants (already got LED sidelights and brake lights)

Fitted the above this week. In a few months I'll get LED rear numberplate lights and LED indicators. The LED brake lights look good though!

Respray Centre Console
18" BK Racing VXR Relicas
GSI Front Bumper
SLAM IT!

Look something like this but with standard grill and no dodgey chrome mirrors

oh it and it will obviously be the lovely gold you all love :D
