Car todo lists....

Not a bad idea, I keep forgetting all the bits i need to do!

Check Oil Levels (Engine and Gearbox)
Relocate Battery to Boot
Fit Rear Parcel Shelf
Refit A-Pilar Gauge Pod
Investigate Rear Creaking Noises (Suspension or Handbrake Related)
Thorough Wash Inside and Out

My list still hasn't advanced, it has increased though...

1) Decide on and get a car.
2) Install improved sound system.
3) Install bumper cameras.
4) If stock wheels, get better ones.
5) Do something like 'Know You Limits' and learn the car properly.
6) Look at what mods are available.

on a Civic? Where do you live a warzone?

Yes, and you could say that yes... But im not insuring the car for my address as insurers would dry bum me even harder!

Quote for it at my address, and that with not declaring mods:

think u need to spend a bit of time doing a lot of quotes, 4k insurance on a 1.4 civic cant be right!

 That is mad, thats more than my car + insurance cost.

Quinn were the cheapest for me as well. Try a load of places and then when you have tried them all sort them into cheapest first and ring them to see if you can get it any cheaper. This didn't work for me though, i was getting dearer quotes over the phone so i gave up and went with the on line quote.

How much is the car worth?, try it as TPFT and see what it comes up with if the car isn't worth much.

Ive been doing it for last week, searched stupidly loads of insurers and cheapest ive had on a online quote is 2600, so rang them up declared that my cars is lowered 40MM and it has full leather interior and it knocked it up to 3400!!!!

Im being told by pretty much everyone not to declare modifications, but i cant risk crashing and having my insurance void.

Could stretch to 3400 through monthly option, but just cant bring my self to pay that kind of money for a year, its pathetic the robbing *******'s!

How about the risk of the car being damaged/stolen and not being insured because it wasn't being kept where it's insured to be kept.

1 - Sort clutch Judder
2 - Re adjust coilovers
3 - Fit new white BBS alloys
4 - Either BMC CDA or new manifold (or both!)
6 - possibly re-map to finish it off

Edit - forgot - 7 - G60 280mm brake upgrade
