Has the K4 been stored outside at all over winter?
If it was, ice forming from any residual water in the unit can possibly crack some of the weaker components causing a leak or air ingress when in use?

It's been stored undercover and wrapped in a thermal cover. I guess it may have suffered, will take it apart and check.
 
Where do people buy their cleaning products from? I need a new drying towel, glass cleaner, interior cleaner and polishing compounds.

Also usual places like Amazon, Halfords etc although a case of waiting for deals etc

When it was a 1 man band 20 years ago he was based in Wokingham and I used to buy directly from him in his warehouse (assuming they are the same company).

Do you know what the minimum amount is? I tried it the other day but no dice. I believe I read they no longer pay for a trade account on Detailing World, so assumed they had dropped the perk.

Don't know but I just default to eBay.

Probably going to buy a new kit

I need a new claybar kit and juice , some soft pads, meguiars ultimate compound and collinite 476 super doublecoat wax

had used ultimatefinish which were cheapest for combination of articles I'd wanted
(need an app that show best place with combination of articles and free postage limits - googles useless)

I have been using "Clean Your Car" whenever they have a promo on, good comms and shipping. Recently though for brushes, microfibres and other similar stuff I have been using Ali Express which is a lot cheaper than any of the usual UK suppliers.

Ordered a new pump head as it sounds like its the most likely culprit

Have you removed the outer casing from the pressure washer to get to the motor?

If you remove the casing you can connect up the washer to a hose reel without using mains power and turn on the water at the tap.
Go back to the motor and check for water leaks, once you know if and where any leaks are you can order the relevant parts.
