*** Car Wash / Valet / Detailing Thread ***

try using a water spot remover

i know the DIY detail one, is a tar remove , bug remover etc, id have theck the name
might be fallout remover they call it, i will be getting some at some point, i got some AG stuff ive never tried , which i should try as i think i have tar spots

I'll take any advice after my son decided to help 'clean the car' with ahem, some stones:

The scratches are not particularly deep (only just feel them with a fingernail). It's the first time I've tried to remove scratches from my car, could I get away with something like this or would it need something a bit more intense... if so what would be suggested :D. Right now I just want to make them less visible, I'll figure out a longer term solution to getting rid of them completely when I have more time and/or money.

Start with just a normal Polish, by hand or machine

Do you have any polishes ?

If that does not work then it's gone too deep and will need paint correction done (polishing)

I thought I was being efficient and safe but took an age...

Pressure Wheels > BH Surfex HD Wheels > Rinse > BH Surfex HD Lower Panels > BH Autofoam Panels > Rinse > BH Auto-Wash 2 Buckets > Rinse > Koch Chemie ProtectorWax > Rinse > Dry

Just want a simpler approach as do both family cars if gone to the hassle of getting everything out.

Looked at other options but never get around to coming up with a new more efficient workflow.

im going to be biased here
but check out DIY detail, their "simple" and "fun" approach is efficient and effortless

Going to be doing a deep clean in a couple of weeks

this lot came today (3 more coming tomorrow)

the sprayer bottle is a 360 degree & double shot one

I see you have a new brand addiction :P

Let me know what you think of the products

How can you tell :D

And a new phone? ;)
Yes i bought it 4 months ago ish as i needed a 2nd phone, so my old one is now my work phone
I used some left over AG polar blast yesterday. I’d forgotten how powerful Touch Less is in comparison to other products. The Polar Blast looked cool but did bugger all

looks awesome, i can see the gloss on the left panels as its reflecting there more

Now I know why you were 'biased' :)
What product will you put in the bottle? Do you also have a pump sprayer?
:D

I have a battery sprayer, although I don't think it's very good, it also foams though

I have a hand pump foamer but not a sprayer yet

I'll be putting rinseless wash in there as you can use it everywhere, including interior
