Carabao Cup - Semi Finals 1st leg ** Spoilers ** [24th - 25th January 2023]

That's the thing. It's going to be hard to finda player with Longstaff work rate but with better quality finishing.

Think he's one of the league leaders in line breaking passes.
He should be in double figures for goals man. He works hard and finds himself in good positions but it's not enough in the premier league. He's bang average imo, not good enough for a top half side. I don't like critising the local lads but I think that's half the problem with Newcastle fans. We are too soft on them, if he was called Jean Grosstick and from France we'd stick him in the reserves :D

Don't need to tell me. But his workrate is vital.

Our number 6 spends more time rampaging up the pitch and more often than not its Longstaff that drops back to cover.

A more specialised DM would maybe free up Bruno to move to 8. He's been vocal about moving up the pitch also.

You Reds.

Nottingham, Nottingham, Nottingham.

2-0 Forest (last minute 2nd goal just as a safety net to shut up all the commenters)

It really is great to see Nottingham Forest back in these occasions. The ground and fans are fantastic but you're getting battered tonight. We got to put the fright down to those oil slick magpie's ;).

Surprised we still aren't seeing Sancho back on the bench yet. Poor Eriksen is still getting flogged as well. I know the drop off from first XI is stark but the guy needs a rest. Hopefully we can start resting players later in this game. Bring on the likes of Mainoo, Garnacho and Pallestri.

That was a tidy with his left and nice to see his composure. He's looking a lot stronger than he has done for a long time though which is good to see.

That said... it was terrible defending and a bit of luck fumbling it through - Rashfords usual attempt at playing it through a player.
