Carabao Cup - Third Round ** Spoilers ** [8th - 10th November 2022]

Big credit to Kelleher there. For a while I didn't particularly rate him and I can remember in previous penalty shootouts in the Cup's never thinking he'd get near anything but he's really grown in the past 12 months or so and that 3rd save tonight was special. As for the match itself, it was a non event for the most part but we probably should have won it by a couple of goals still.

Hopefully by the time the next round comes around we've got a few more senior players available because while it's nice to give lots of kids game time, I'm not sure it really works when 5 of your front 6 are kids and I don't think they gain much from it either. Throw in a Jota and Milner and I think the balance is a bit better and it makes it easier for the 3 youngsters they're playing with.
 
Hopefully we can fall out of this stupid cup. Shouldn't even exist. This season it's even more crazy. I think if we stay in every tournament they actually can't fit all our games in.
