Card just exploded!!

Bought a X1950XT last week out of the OcUK sale, installed it today, loaded the new drivers, then starting up COD4. Couple of minutes later I started hearing a high-pitched squealing sound coming from the PC and thought it might be the fan. But no.... about 30 seconds after that there's a nice loud bang followed by a very worrying burning smell!! :eek: Needless to say I just about **** myself!! :D

After I'd concluded the PC wasn't actually on fire, I opened it up to find one of the caps on the card had blown! There's even bits of it lying around the case!

Anyway, I've sent an RMA request off although with this card being in the sale, and OcUK not having anymore, not sure how they'll go about replacing it...?

LMAO :D :D - We disagree on a few things m8 but it's always just a debate and never an argument :). You know your stuff. I never doubt that but we just have different opinions about some things in the graphics section. Don't worry, you'll get your Christmas card next year too :p.
